Transportation & Parking

Please note: Complimentary transportation will only be provided during the times and from the locations listed below on Saturday, September 26.

• The Local Motion bus transportation will depart at 4:15 PM (immediately following the second concurrent discussion) from the Science Center (on Oxford St.) to the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers, the Charles Hotel, and the Inn at Harvard.


• The Local Motion bus transportation will depart at 6:00 PM from the Charles Hotel and the Inn at Harvard to the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers.


• Following the dinner, Local Motion bus transportation will make its first departure at 10:00 PM from the Boston Park Plaza to the Charles Hotel and the Inn at Harvard. Continuous transportation at half hour intervals will be provided to Harvard Square with the last bus departing the Boston Park Plaza at 12:30 AM.

Transportation to the Park Plaza Hotel via the T (Subway) from Harvard Square:

1. Enter the Harvard Square Station and take the Red Line INBOUND towards Ashmont/Braintree.
2. Get off at Park Street and change to the Green line.
3. Walk up the stairs and take either the B, C, D or E line OUTBOUND.
4. Get off at Arlington Street.
5. Walk south down Arlington Street away from the Boston Public Gardens. The Park Plaza Hotel will be one block on your left.

Transportation from the Park Plaza Hotel via the T (Subway) to Harvard Square:

1. Walk north up Arlington Street to an INBOUND Arlington Station entrance.
2. Take the Green Line INBOUND towards Lechemere/North Station.
3. Get off at Park Street and change to the Red Line.
4. Walk down the stairs and take the Red Line OUTBOUND towards Alewife.
5. Get off at the Harvard Square stop.

Complimentary parking will be available at the Broadway Garage. The Broadway Garage is located on Felton Street (enter from Cambridge Street). You will need to inform the attendant that you are attending the Harvard Black Alumni Weekend.

Please note the hours of complimentary parking listed below:
Friday, September 25: 11 AM – 11 PM
Saturday, September 26: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Sunday, September 27: 8:30 AM – 1 PM
